How to get a SIM-Card for my cellphone ?

We offer a Pre-Paid-Card from a local discount provider for you. It's name is ja-mobil.

Advantages

Almost every Trainee in Dresden has such a card, thus you can call them very cheap.
You don't have to look for your own in german shops.
You only need to ask us if you want one.

Disadvantages

You can only load it at REWE-shops. (There are several ones in the city center)

Where do I get Sleeping bags and pads?

You should ask one of your flatmates if he can lend you one, or you ask in the office. We also have some sleeping bag and pads.

What should I fill into the insurance field of my N5b?

IAESTE-Germany automatically provides an insurance for all IAESTE-Trainees coming here. It's an insuranc from DAAD covering health, personal accident and private liabillity. Details are here: Insurance Conditions

The only thing you have to do is writing "DAAD" into the proper line.
